Mirna River Valley Cycling In Istria

Istria is known as the land of magic, and a cycling trip through this lovely rural landscape will quickly show you why. From the bike trail along the valley floor, take in views of the surrounding hilltops dotted by medieval towns, which, according to local legend, were built by giants. In addition to picturesque towns, the area is home to verdant fields and meadows, family farms and herds of cows and sheep grazing in their pastures.

The off-road trail we’ll follow is mostly flat, but does include uneven sections with loose gravel. This trip therefore may not be suitable for children or those who are not confident in maneuvering a bike on uneven terrain.

The trip should take around 5 hours from start to finish and is an easy/moderate level of difficulty. E-bikes are available on request for an additional 20 euros per person.

All prices are per person, with a minimum of 4 people per group. We can do the tour for groups of less than 4, but the price for each person will be higher. Private tours are also available – contact us for more details.

Not included:

  • Food and drinks during the trip
  • Gratuities for your guide(s)
  • Transfers to and from the starting point

CANCELLATIONS:

In the case of extreme weather conditions, Terra Magica Adventures will reschedule the activity for a day or two prior to or after the date booked, if possible. If the change is not possible, payments will be refunded in full.

All clients’ cancellations must be submitted in writing by email.
Cancellation charges per person (percentage of the total price) are as follows:

  • 8 or more days prior to arrival – 0%
  • 2-7 days prior to arrival – 50%
  • 1 day prior to arrival or no show – 100%

Arrival and departure point: Details provided during booking

Transfers: Transfers to the starting point from various locations in Istria are available on request (subject to availability – charges may apply).

Maximum number of participants: 8 guests per group. Larger groups may be available on request.

Minimum age: 10 years if accompanied by parent(s).

Things to bring with you: Walking or cycling shoes, water, sunscreen, some cash for food and drinks or other expenses, snacks, cycling clothes, spare t-shirt, daypack.

Note: This itinerary is subject to change depending on group abilities and preferences, weather, special events and unforeseen circumstances. Terra Magica Adventures guides will do their utmost to ensure the best possible experience for their clients without compromising safety at any time. This may mean changing the original itinerary to avoid discomfort or risk, which could be caused by exceptional heat or cold, stormy weather, heavy traffic or other factors beyond our control.
