Sea Kayaking Porec Islands

Porec is one of Istria’s most renowned tourist destinations. The ancient town manages to balance the authentic charm of a small coastal town filled with magnificent historical sites, with the perks and exciting features modern and active travelers expect. Sea Kayaking Rovinj Islands

The picturesque town of Rovinj is a masterpiece of urban art and architecture, but its surroundings, the Rovinj Archipelago Islands, are masterpieces of nature. The best way to explore and enjoy them is in a kayak. Our kayaks will take you to the harbor, around Old Town Rovinj, to the Golden Cape and to Sveti Katarina Island and its hidden beaches – all in a half-day round trip. One of our secret spots includes optional cliff jumping into the crystal clear sea for more adventurous travelers. After kayaking, there will be time to enjoy a walk through the meandering, narrow streets of Rovinj and enjoy a coffee, an ice cream or a glass of wine.

Oprtalj - Groznjan - Motovun Cycling Tour

The Istrian Peninsula is well known for its coast, but the real treasures are inland. Rural Istria is rich with medieval hilltop villages, vineyards, fields and forests, which are very pleasant for touring on a bike. This cycling tour includes Oprtalj and Groznjan, charming hillside towns where we will have time for a short walk and exploring. We will get the chance to cycle the Parenzana, an old railroad bed now known as a mecca for cyclists. As we slowly travel down to the Mirna River Valley, we will enjoy magnificent views of the countryside. Since Motovun is just a short drive away, we will have the opportunity to explore the picturesque hillside town, walk along its old defense walls, have dinner with truffles – a local specialty – and enjoy a gorgeous sunset over the Mirna River valley.

Accommodation: Motovun guesthouse; Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.

Hiking in Plitvice Lakes National Park

Today we are visiting one the most beautiful and stunning national parks in Croatia – Plitvice Lakes National Park. Visiting Plitvice is possible only by hiking around the park’s 16 lakes, numerous waterfalls fed by both the Black and White Rivers and seemingly endless forests.

We start our trip walking along the wooden paths and bridges in and around Plitvice Lakes, Croatia’s oldest and most popular national park. Its exquisite series of 16 emerald green and opal blue travertine lakes, more than 90 waterfalls and numerous caves make it a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The lakes are surrounded by beech and pine forests and are home to extensive wildlife. After our walk we will enjoy a picnic lunch in this pristine, natural area. A panoramic boat and bus ride will take us back to the starting point.

Accommodation: Plitvice Lakes NP; Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.

Today our tour comes to an end. You are welcome to schedule your homeward transport for any time, but we suggest avoiding booking departures early in the morning and recommend arranging ground transportation from areas that are close to Plitvice National Park.
