Lim Channel Croatia Kayaking Adventure

Let us take you kayaking in Istria! Between Porec and Rovinj lies a 10km long flooded canyon valley known as Lim Channel, or Lim Fjord. At its widest point, the channel is 600m across. 

From our kayaks or Stand Up Paddleboards, we will have views of steep, verdant hills stretching up above us, reaching heights up to 100m. The green slopes are home to diverse plant life ranging from evergreen to deciduous trees, and wildlife including foxes, wild boars, badgers, and deer.

We will paddle past small mussel and oyster farms and will stop for swimming and snorkeling in the saltwater channel.

In this pristine natural area, there is nowhere to buy food until the end of the trip, so we recommend bringing snacks for a picnic lunch at a hidden beach along the way. At the end of the trip, we can stop at a restaurant for a late lunch or refreshing drinks.

Price per person starts at:
55,00 € / 414,40 kn for adults
28,00 € / 210,97 kn for children under 12

 

All prices are per person, with a minimum of 4 guests per group. We can do the tour with less than 4 people, but the price for each person will be higher. Private tours are also available – contact us for more details.

Prices include:

  • Skilled guide
  • Use of equipment, including kayaks or SUPs, paddles, life jackets and dry bags
  • Insurance

Not included:

  • Lunch, snacks and drinks during trip
  • Tips for your guide(s)
  • Transfers to the starting point (Terra Magica office) available on request, charges may apply

CANCELLATIONS:

In the case of extreme weather conditions, Terra Magica Adventures will reschedule the activity for a day or two prior to or after the date booked, if possible. If the change is not possible, payments will be refunded in full.

All clients’ cancellations must be in writing by email.
Cancellation charges per person (percentage of total price):

  • 8 or more days prior to arrival – 0%
  • 2-7 days prior to arrival – 50%
  • 1 day prior to arrival or no show – 100%

Arrival and departure point: Lim Channel – details provided when booking.

Things to bring with you:  swim suit, water shoes or flip flops, water, towel, sunscreen, some cash for food and drinks, snacks, dry clothes for the ride back to Porec.

Transfers: Transfers to the starting point from various locations in Istria are available on request (subject to availability – charges may apply).

Minimum age: 5 years if accompanied by parent(s).

Note: This itinerary is subject to change depending on group abilities and preferences, weather and special events. Terra Magica Adventures guides will do their utmost to ensure the best possible experience for their clients without compromising safety at any time. This may mean changing the original itinerary to avoid discomfort or risk, which could be caused by exceptional heat or cold, stormy weather, heavy traffic or other reasons beyond our control.
