Istria Kayaking Tour – Sea Kayaking Porec Islands

Porec is one of Istria’s most renowned tourist destinations. It successfully balances the authentic charm of a small coastal town filled with magnificent historical sites, with the perks and exciting features modern and active travelers expect. During the high season the town can often be packed with tourists, so an ideal escape from the crowds is to spend the day sea kayaking Porec.

This half-day round trip is perfect for those who want to explore coastal Istria in an exciting and adventurous way, but also for families with children and groups seeking an active day with beautiful scenery.

No prior kayaking experience is necessary on our Istria kayaking tours.

We will meet in Porec (details provided upon booking). After providing you with the equipment and a safety talk, we will start the excursion. Sea kayaking, swimming, relaxing and enjoying Istria’s stunning coastline are all a part of this trip. The tour ends at the starting point, where you can relax by the sea, swim, rent Stand Up Paddleboards or rent bikes to explore the lovely countryside.

The trip is also possible on Stand Up Paddleboards. Prior SUP experienced required.

10:00 Arrival at Terra Magica Adventures meeting point.
10:30 Preparations. Instructions and safety briefing. Start.
12:30 Break for lunch, refreshing drinks, and swimming.
15:00 End in Porec, optional lunch or some more activities.

All prices are per person, with a minimum of 4 guests per group. We can do the tour with less than 4 people, but the price for each person will be higher. Private tours are also available – contact us for more details.

Prices include:

  • Skilled guide
  • Use of equipment for kayaking, including kayaks, paddles, life jackets and dry bags
  • Insurance

Not included:

  • Drinks and snacks during the trip
  • Optional gratuities for your guide(s)
  • Transfers to and from the starting point

CANCELLATIONS:

In the case of extreme weather conditions, Terra Magica Adventures will reschedule the activity for a day or two prior to or after the date booked, if possible. If the change is not possible, payments will be refunded in full.

All clients’ cancellations must be in writing by email.
Cancellation charges per person (percentage of total price):

  • 8 or more days prior to arrival – 0%
  • 2-7 days prior to arrival – 50%
  • 1 day prior to arrival or no show – 100%

Arrival and departure point: Porec – details provided upon booking.

Things to bring with you: Swim suit, board shorts, water shoes or flip flops, water, sunscreen, hat, some cash for lunch and other expenses, snacks, spare t-shirt.

Transfers: Transfers to the starting point from various locations in Istria are available on request (subject to availability – charges may apply).

Maximum number of participants: 16 guests per group. Larger groups possible on request.

Minimum age: 5 years if accompanied by parent(s).

Terra Magica Adventures guides will do their utmost to ensure the best possible experience for their clients without compromising safety at any time. This may mean changing the original itinerary to avoid discomfort or risk, which could be caused by exceptional heat or cold, stormy weather, heavy traffic or other reasons beyond our control.
