Sea Kayaking Rovinj

Sea kayaking in Rovinj is one of the best ways to explore this ancient port and its stunning natural surroundings. This kayaking tour will take you to the Old Town harbor, Sveta Katarina (Saint Catherine) Island, the Golden Cape and hidden beaches – all in an easy half-day round trip.

We will meet in Rovinj at the Terra Magica Adventures starting point (details provided upon booking). After providing you with the equipment and a safety talk, we will start the kayaking excursion. Sea kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, relaxing and enjoying the scenery are all a part of this trip, with the option to try cliff jumping for those who are interested.

This trip is also possible on stand up paddle boards. Prior SUP experience is required.

10:00 Arrival at Rovinj meeting point.
10:10 Preparations. Instructions and safety briefing. Start.
12:30 Break for lunch, refreshing drinks, swimming, snorkeling and optional cliff jumping.
15:00 End of the trip.

All prices are per person, with a minimum of 2 guests per group. Private tours are also available – contact us for more details.

Price includes:

  • Kayaking guide
  • Use of equipment, including kayaks (we use two-person, sit-on-top kayaks), paddles, life jackets and dry bags
  • basic Insurance

Not included:

  • Lunch, drinks and snacks during the trip
  • Gratuities for your guide(s)
  • Transfers to and from the starting point

CANCELLATIONS:

In the case of extreme weather conditions, Terra Magica Adventures will reschedule the activity for a day or two prior to or after the date booked, if possible. If the change is not possible, payments will be refunded in full.

All clients’ cancellations must be in writing by email.
Cancellation charges per person (percentage of total price):

  • 8 or more days prior to arrival – 0%
  • 2-7 days prior to arrival – 50%
  • 1 day prior to arrival or no show – 100%

Things to bring with you: Swim suit, board shorts, towel, water shoes or flip flops, water bottle, sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses with sport strap, credit card and cash for lunch and other expenses, snacks, dry clothes to change into after the tour.

Transfers: Transfers to the starting point from various locations in Istria are available on request (subject to availability – charges may apply).

Maximum number of participants: 13 guests per group. Larger groups possible on request.

Minimum age: 5 years if accompanied by parent(s).

Terra Magica Adventures guides will do their utmost to ensure the best possible experience for their clients without compromising safety at any time. This may mean changing the original itinerary to avoid discomfort or risk, which could be caused by exceptional heat or cold, stormy weather, heavy traffic or other reasons beyond our control.
